The power version of conny is a really powerful and well balanced rod, I tried it in the shop another day and very impressed.
I also feel the light rod is much nicer when trotting, it just makes things much easier. The weight of the rod do matters, even it is well balanced.
Yeah, it’s the same weight as the 15ft daiwa, and less powerful I assume? I believe this is due to the extension. My experience is that the rod with an extension tends to be heavier, you may also noticed that the 12ft is heavier than the 13ft
IMO, it’s terrible PR.
I can see the use of this net holder thing, it can be useful when you resting the fish in the net, not necessary, but can be useful some times.
Korum has some really nice kits, what I like and using are:
quick mat
folding quiver
Bolt and run kit
Glide line
Roving ruckbag
Loaded Blox
Compact bait waiter
I have a mixed feeling of their landing nets, I like the concept behind those nets, but the quality is poor, can’t risk another snap...
The basia is imo, the best barbel blank out there.
Chimera no3 is more through action than basia, but it has a really powerful of butt section, I actually think the tc of no3 is more like 2.5.
