Nice fish/ photo Graham. Never caught a chub on a deadbait before, but used to catch quite a few on small livebaits (usually minnows) when I was after perch on the Bristol Avon.

Nice fish, Tom. Looks like it's got a bit of filling out to do over the next few months too... would love to catch it in March and see how big it went.

As you said mate, you're fishing the right areas that are known to hold decent fish (anywhere on the Thames around Oxford will do!), so I'm sure it won't be long at all before a few nice fish start turning up. It's the barbel that are the problem around here!!!
