    Korda kaptor curve shank

They've got a fine straight point so they may be prone to the points turning, get yourself a Jewellers Magnifying glass, about £4 off ebay and a hook sharpener and you can resharpen them, if they're not too bad!👍

    Wanted. Rod repairs

There was a very good rod builder based at Fosters, now Angling Direct, Kingstanding, called Bob (Don't know his surname) it may be worth checking if he's still there

Big fish kill Warks Avon. THOUSANDS DEAD FISH.

My Sister's house backs onto the Birmingham-Stratford Canal, there's been a big fish kill there too! They raised the canal level, which has now dropped back to normal level. I assume it's EA have put 2 large aerator pumps just it from where she lives, but that will only benefit a very localised...

Big fish kill Warks Avon. THOUSANDS DEAD FISH.

Barbel Society Show Last Sunday 4th June

I'm a member of the BS, rejoined 2 years ago after a gap of 20 odd years. There's 164 members on the BS Membership fb page, I think that says a lot about membership numbers, and it's perceived relevance now. I remember being a member pre social media days and before the explosion in barbel...

    Hinders Elips Pellets

I've still got about a third of a bottle of Lamprey flavour, I have a sniff of it occasionally for nostalgia. The thing about Teme Severn baits was it gave you confidence. A while after Teme Severn ceased trading, Dave Mason started selling some of the range under his own name. I bought some for...

Cadence CR10 Barbel Rod 2 Lb TC

An alternative in that price range is the Daiwa Powermesh 12ft 2.25lb tc. Another one possibly worth a look at is the new Guru N Gauge Specimen Barbel rod 12ft 2.25tc. Have a look here: https://barbel.co.uk/forum/threads/off-the-shelf-barbel-rods.19855/

Question....2 X Delkim plus but alarms white/blue led

If you don't fancy replacing the connectors, you can remove the corrosion by sprinkling baking powder on the affected area then dabbling the baking powder with a cotton bud tip dipped in lemon juice or vinegar, then clear it off with an old toothbrush. It does work! I did it with a TV remote...
