I still do Tony, probably still some of the best bait about Imo. Johnson Ross tackle in hoddesdon still stock a big range & John baker also makes Lone angler baits for them had a lot of good results on there bait too.

For me when the weather is mild like it is at the moment, I stick to my summer bait but less free offerings more smelly ground bait mixed with hemp & glug. When the weather turns really cold & the water is low & clear flavoured maggots but when the water is up & coloured flavoured meat.

Hi John, I have just bought the 30in version & I have no complaints, way deep enough to rest fish in & very strong. Highly recommended.

A bunch of lobworms or garlic spam on the kennet would be good if you want to catch crayfish all day!! :D
