How far North do barbel live

This is what I’ve read in various different sources. Easterly flowing rivers such as the Thames, Trent, Gr.Ouse and so forth.

    New Daiwa Theory Speci

I was also going to say that I’m surprised no one else has copied the Armalock concept. I know it’s patented, and all that, but it can’t be to hard to circumvent the patent restrictions. It is, after al,l just a flattened cork handle. I see that Preston has pretty much the same but in duplon...

    New Daiwa Theory Speci

Yes, the Armlock handles are lovely. Have them on both my infinity evo and powermesh. I’m looking for a 15 float rod at the moment and have been weighing up Acolyte and Cadence options but with the armlock handle on the Daiwa then I think I may need to give one of these a waggle before I pull...

    OMC magic twig

No doubt it’ll be a revolutionary ‘Game changer” and have the word “Magic” in its name.🙄 He may even be able to muster up a few more totes emotes tears as well.

Calling all users of Ray Walton Rolling Pin Reel!!

Never used one Alan but I’ve always wondered if there could be line twist issues with a reel that casts off the side but winds onto the front. Probably not a problem for rolling meat but if you’re pulling back something that’s more resistant to unwinding itself then….?

    Brolly reviews

Neat. I have the Ridgemonkey bucket too. My club has a rule: no sealable bucket, no fishing, and you will be asked to leave if you fail to show the Bailif your bucket. Rightly so, imo. And so I not only bought the Ridgemonkey bucket but also the rather neat toilet seat they make for it too...

    Photos of river scenes

Kempston mill bridge and a burst river Great Ouse this morning. I’ve seen the water lapping the underside of the bridge countless times but I don’t ever recall seeing the water flowing over the foot boards before.

    Mortimer and whitehouse new series

The music has been very good throughout all of the series’. It’ll probably close out to R&J Unchained Melody next week. 🙄 And it’ll probably work, too.😉

    Mortimer and whitehouse new series

Not The Fast Show but Harry And Paul. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve been stuck in traffic singing this in my mind.

    Mortimer and whitehouse new series

Rowley Birkin “poisonous monkeys…” really got me. I was, and am still puzzled by The Fast Show. It really wasn’t that funny but for some reason it really made me laugh. 🤷‍♂️

    Mortimer and whitehouse new series

Wow! Rarely has my flabber been so gasted. 😳 😉

    Mortimer and whitehouse new series

It doesn’t purport too though, does it? No one really thinks it’s a fishing show anyhow. But, like Strictly has (probably) raised the public’s interest and possibly participation of ball room dancing then if M&W raise the interest of fishing as a pastime and portrays anglers and angling in a...

    Mortimer and whitehouse new series

I enjoyed it. I was wondering last season if it still had any legs left but that episode was as good as any I can remember seeing.

    Centrepin

I went to the liquidators sale for Leslie’s at Peacock auctions in Bedford. The sale room that day looked like the PM addressing the troops at camp Bastion, such was the amount of Camo wear being donned. There were some hopelessly inexperienced auction bidders that day, probably not realising...

    Narrow Drum Speedia

And/or the fact that the Anglia was probably produced just down the road at the Dagenham (dustbin) factory. 😉 My mum’s first car was a brand new Anglia. She bought it on an apprentice hairdresser’s salary in the early 60,s which must have taken some discipline.

    Vehicle of choice

Lot to be said for having an old *s*itter that you don’t give two hoots about Dan. My other half has brand new bog-fresh Sportage and I see the angst it causes. The places I’m allowed to park in a multi story are so few and far between. Can’t park here, in case someone opens their door...

    Piscario centrepins

I suppose it depends how you define very light Andrew, but my Sheffield’s ratchet is also on the light side compared with some other c’pins.

    Piscario centrepins

Yes. Far too many shelf queen c’pins out there.

    Piscario centrepins

You make it sound like it’s akin to admitting wearing your wife’s panties when she’s not around. Mind you, having seen the price, and for what looks to be just a caged construction c’pin, I think I might be willing to admit to the former rather than having paid nine hundred smackeroonies for...
