The longer you leave them sealed, the longer that take to wake up. I've had them in a freezer bag in the fridge sealed for three weeks and they have taken twenty-four hours to come round. They last better if they are clean and dry before bagging.
Had some real rain in last couple of days and the Yorkshire rivers are up by a decent amount for the first time this season. So will be out with enthusiasm today.

I don't mind it raining when I'm fishing, but like to have an idea what is forecast before choosing when to go. I have apps for BBC weather and The Met Office. On every day this week they have been completely different. One would say only 10% chance of rain...
This is mine, two Velcro straps keep it closed for carrying and there is a big net pocket on the back. Great for tight spots, steep backs of when moving swims.
It's not actually a chair, it folds flat for carrying and has a base and back with adjustable straps to alter the angle. Wish I knew how to transfer the image from Go Outdoors.
