    New chub rod

Sadly, the blank on the Dave Mason and the later substitute are long gone.

    Diawa powermesh reel seat

Reel seat and reel feet vary slightly in dimensions - enough to make quite a difference in 'fit' when using certain make and size combinations. Wind down seats are quite prone to loosening. Clone DPS 'pipe' type fittings can have a shorter thread available. Example - PacBay seats compared with...

    One rod

Must admit to really liking that particular 'Stick' Terry . Looks especially good with the Rolling Pin. Cheers Bob

Replacement rod ring for Daiwa powermesh.

Must be going daft - got it in my mind that it was a tip ring. Apologies.

Replacement rod ring for Daiwa powermesh.

Most tip ring measurements for 'tube' diameter go up/down in size steps of 0.2 mm. Example 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, 2.6 ............ Cheers Bob

    Reels

Got mine (Thunnus 4000) from Germany at £154 each a couple of years back. My 4000 D spools fit as well (if you can put up with the different colours).

    Old bait

Back in the days of the dinosaur used to buy ingredients from the likes of Rod Hutchinson, Cotswold and Geoff Kemp. Keep a lot of these for years and had good results. Kept a couple of bags of Hutchy fish and crab mix (forget the name but something like Superfish) and used it for barbel over 5+...

Korum aeronium supalite deluxe chair - edited and merged

Just a suggestion as was looking at a new chair a while ago. Was keen on the Korum but ended up with the Fox Duralite. Heavier OK at 3.2 kg but higher at with arms, the latter being a selling point for this old codger. Fox Duralite Cheers Bob
