Just found these in my local tackle shop. The price is on them so if anyone still needs them you pay £3.99 plus postage. I will not be going near a post office untill Monday now at the earlyest and may be even Tuesday or Wednesday.
If you don't still need them thats not a problem they'll get used.
I've looked all over the net but can't find a JRC X Lite. I think there discontinued I can find a JRC Stealth x lite but that looks to low or a JRC Defender which is 4.1kg.
Can one of the JRC xlite owners please let me know how high this chair can go??. I have dodgy knees so need a bit of height.. I've had a chub Hi-Lite for years which was perfect but alas it's beyond repair. Any pointers to higher light chairs would be of great help. I do like the korum s23...
Free spirit Barbel Seeker or Free spirit Barbel tamer 2lb which is about half the price of the seeker. I think it comes with a quiver tip top section as well as the avon top section.

As I said in my post its not as if I want to just take a chance a £200+ rod.
I've been looking at the Korum Glide 12 to 14ft and at around £80 I...
Is the Drennan Acolyte plus 15ft float rod up to trotting for barbel??. I've heard people say they use them but I own one and I'm not sure. You could say go and try it but it's an expensive way to find if its not.
Neil can a local tackle shop get you a pair from drennan. You can't deal with Drennan directly and to find a pair of second hand ones sounds a bit of a long shot. good luck either way.
