    Before the barbel rod market took off ,i used my bruce and walker xlt as a bread rod for chub and a waggler rod on the dove and trent , and had barbel to over 9lb on it, they took a bit of getting in but remember that rod very fondly, never had a vertical cd neil, first one i had around 1975ish...

    Crazy how it works sean, we pay for our pastime and are fixed to "local" , they buy a bike and go where they want to cause chaos at no extra charge🤷‍♂️

    My nearest bit of river(2 of them) are approx 7miles, and my nearest (propper supermarket for a full shop,not the local arkwrights)are 8 miles away, so to me thats good enough, Regards and good luck for the last 4 weeks

    Dont know why sonubaits stopped doing their original elips , had a lot of fish on that bait, tried the flavoured ones but they were crap, and hve moved on to other baits, dont use any sonubait, ( just makes me wonder if any bait manufacturers read what we put on the site? And think we f+×ed...
