I don't think it's being a grinch. This is press release is further recognition of the benefits of riparian areas and grants are available for landowners. The most important thing is the recognition by Zac Goldsmith and DEFRA that will, hopefully, back our argument for legislation protecting...
I'd like to think the AT and I had an influence here as that gives a massive incentive to keep pushing on issues we see as important. Zac Goldsmith had said back in March (posted on 23rd), that riparian areas were to get increased legislation. Subsequently, this press release yesterday is very...
Shimano in Italy used to sell small multipliers for bolo fishing, I can see how well they might work but they didn't seem to catch on and they do not make them anymore.
I like the ZLT shot which are zinc. I have never had a problem with line damage and easy to reuse. Bigger ones can easily be placed over a thin piece of silicon tube if you want to. I use no6 to SSG.

I’ve had a few pairs from this company who sell fit overs. The latest I have are polarised and photochromic. For £25 I can’t fault them:

Filindre as per link above can almost certainly help or just go into a local fastener company for a suitable E type circlip. It should not be an issue.
Hi everyone. We (NMC) have run a few masterclasses for those wishing to try fishing for grey mullet. This year we have expanded on the theme. I thought I would post it up here as if like me you enjoy catching a fish that offers a challenge you will almost certainly enjoy catching mullet. If you...
Two good questions! I will not have 1000's of each size and have no intention of trying to start a big business so I'll sell them via pm on here, via friends and Facebook etc. I'll bump the post now and then. As for the when, I have placed the order and was told this afternoon it could be early...
Thanks Simon, I must admit to never using the eye and was maybe going to omit it completely much preferring a piece of tube on the tip. As the float is not made of balsa I don't see it getting ripped out as so much of an issue as I remember it to be when carp fishing.
You are on the list! Hopefully this year our plans to have a fish together will not be scuppered as often :( I know what you mean about the eyes...... :) Being able to blacken a tip and then just change it back to a coloured will help me especially on the Severn.
I have spent ages over the years looking for the right floats for certain applications for what I want with size; a lot only go up to 6gr; shape; many are to round, subsequently the water makes them wobble as it pushes past when you hold back rather than goes round the body and stem material; I...
I'm chuffed for you, it was a great result taking the river conditions into consideration and how it has been fishing. Target now 5lb! :) I think you stand a great chance as conditions are set to improve
Couple of replies ref Sizewell, let’s hope the opposition isn't snuffed out by government as they are doing with HS2.
I had a meeting with Suffolk Wildlife Trust a couple of weeks back on another matter, this is what I was told this afternoon about Sizewell.
Hi Andy,
It’s not good and we are...
Just bumped it up as it had returned to the list. I need to get this added in ASAP as I'm putting it all together now as I'm looking at it with Stuart Singleton White the AT Campaign Manager. It looks horrendous vandalism.
