I use 6000 x areo's on my 2.75lbs Daiwas. I've since swapped the handles over to singles. I know they're not everyones cup of tea, but I like them.

I've got the AWL River as well, that I use at Staunton Harold with a 2 or 3oz tip for my long line. Maybe more suited for that rod ??

What rod do you put them on lee ?? I use the Daiwa Amorphous Stillwater feeder for my Bream fishing, and was thinking of getting a second hand one to put on that, but at this price, I may as well buy new.

Interestingly, when I looked on Monday they were on back order. Now there's more than 10 in stock. Makes you wonder if they're being discontinued at that price.

There's only about 6 kilos in the air tight bucket, so I think I'll just chuck them all away. I'm not even going to feed them to the birds for fear of killing them. I've got about 50 pre tied mesh bags too, they'll have to go as well.

Mine tend to be quite doughy in the middle, probably the mix being a little thick. I'd like to get them a bit crisper and with a hole in the middle. Less flour I think. How are you guys doing the large ones ?? They look spot on.

One cup of flour, one cup of eggs, one cup of milk, Graham. Bosting hot oven, and I use lard in the tray. Preheat until the lard is starting to smoke. The mixture is a bit thick, but seems to work alright.
