Interesting stuff Neil. Have you had unwritten agreements transcend different owners or are they in situations where it is the same family? Given the land is still not registered I imagine it’s never been sold?
I guess there’s two ways to look at it, maybe spending the money and getting it...
Different case by case. Can be short term licences, long term leases or ownership. The latter two generally being preferable.
In the case of a lease, contents of each lease agreement are generally negotiated case by case. Although a certain % of the agreement may include relatively standard...
To be fair, the fish I had the other day could have fitted half a tin of spam in its gob quite happily. I was also sometimes bringing baits back in that hadn’t been whittled down at all, so there’s a decent chance it did have the whole thing.
Not sure I can visualise how the method feeder would...
I recommended synchro xt to my dad after reviews online, I thought it looked horrible in use (comparatively) and will be sticking to Gardner HT or gr60.
Evening all

I believe this is £40 cheaper than a...
Hi Alan, can't help on the Ray Walton but I recently did this using a normal pin whilst fishing a patenostered livebait for perch. Admittedly only at close range but it worked really well, no dropped runs.
Thank you fellow lanks. I've just tried reproofing my salopettes so that I can comfortably sit a puddle of water instead. If that hasn't worked I will get a Drennan brolly. Presumably people have got the 50in?
Any preferences on hooks for the half a tin of spam? I’m on my last esp raptors, the modern carp hooks I have lying around are beautifully sharp and woefully short lived, the points seem to turn over if a fish farts half a mile downstream.
Edit, just read back and seen a couple but no harm in...
I’m fishing at the moment and at the near the edge can get away with 2.5oz but have got 4.5oz in the middle. I’m fishing into the flow as opposed upstreaming, so could probably use less if doing that.
A few days ago I used 1.5oz and would have used an oz if I’d had any with me.
I believe...
I didn’t watch yesterdays but perhaps that is what we need. Ever increasing levels of type 2 diabetes etc is not only a personal health issue but a financial problem for all of us.
I really enjoy the programme though, bit of light hearted comedy and pretty scenics. What’s not to like.
