Here’s a good tip: get a bike lubricant spray that has some silicone content. Spray a bit on kitchen towel and give the inner section of the handle a wipe down with it. Keeps it moving nice and smoothly.

Never heard of Korum stuff snapping. They’re generally very robust. Maybe it took a knock somewhere?
