Hi chaps, I'm interested to how secure the above reel is when in casting position. Does it clip in place? If not, does it maintain that position fairly well? My reason for asking is that I am considering trying one out for pike fishing. My theory is that this reel in its casting position...

I’m not taking the mickey David, nor am I trying to be an authority and have no idea why you’d think so. If you actually want an Aerial Match then fair play to you, but I thought (possibly mistakenly) that you meant a Match Aerial.

Just to be clear David, do you mean “Aerial Match” or “Match Aerial”? The former is very rare and extremely expensive.
