    Drennan roving bag alternative

Anybody got any real life reviews of the little Korum Progress Roversack then? I like the look of it, but I seem to have developed a preference for clips instead of zips over time so would need to be persuaded to sack off my Drennan Super Speci rucksack. I get the lie-flat business; had a few...

Korda camo bolt and run rigs,

Just to prove the adage that there’s no such thing as bad publicity, I have ordered- notwithstanding this thread- a packet of Korum Camo Bolt and Run rigs! Cheers Danny! Cheers Ali! Cheers Dick! Cheers to all you innovators, pioneers and haters 🖖🏻

    Weight

How much do you weigh Matt? I’m about 12 stone, so your 90lbs is approximately half my body weight you’re carting about 😮

    Drennan roving bag alternative

Can any of you chaps who have got the 25l Korum Roversack tell me the dimensions of the main compartment? If I can get my Greys box in it I'll probably order one.

    Acolyte users??

It felt surprisingly good, but you know the way Daiwa rods balance nicely.

    Acolyte users??

I had a waggle with Dave Maddison’s 17/20 Spectron M2 on Monday, only at 17’ though. Nice rod.

    Acolyte users??

Hi Steve, A 15’ Acolyte Specimen would suit you perfectly unless you’re very exacting about action etc. I have the 13’ and would probably like the 15’ too. Just ask @Chris Jones about his catches with the 15’er. It’ll do everything you need it to do (barring catfish or something daft!) Outside...

    SORTED! 11’ Torrix 1.75

Hiya David, I used to use an old narrow Speedia to trot for barbel and that was really good. I’m planning to use this set up for fishing close in and also rolling meat.

    SORTED! 11’ Torrix 1.75

Cheers Kevin! It may not actually have been yours apparently. He had three identical ones!! Two sold as a pair and the one I got.

    SORTED! 11’ Torrix 1.75

Ah yeah, so it is! Surprised at how comfortable it feels in the hand to be honest.

    Winter is coming

I think you’d find a good pair of lined bib n braces to be far more comfortable for one, and probably warmer too. I have neoprene chest waders, and while I sweat buckets waking a long way in them, I have to wear thermal layers underneath when in the water (especially winter). My Pro-Logic set...

    Winter is coming

    Well yeah, if you’re not wading it’s a no-brainer I guess.

I’d heartily recommend Aaron McCarthy as a seller by the way. Absolutely brilliant experience buying from him and top, top quality gear for a great price 👍🏻 Find him on FB marketplace.

    SORTED! 11’ Torrix 1.75

My Torrix arrived this morning, superbly packed and IMMACULATE condition. I can’t see any evidence that it’s been used. Fitted with three-legged Fuji guides (8 plus tip) and a gorgeous wooden insert reel seat. Purple whippings look stunning in direct sunlight. Pics below with my narrow Speedia…

    SORTED! 11’ Torrix 1.75

Got one! Thanks for your help everyone, my Mark Tunley built Torrix (not new) should arrive on Friday. She's a beauty too... bling reel seat with wooden inlay, and purple whippings (much to Mr Isaacs' disgust 😂) Had to pay a bit for P&P, but well worth it for a rod that cost just shy of £400 new.
