Once clean and dried, I spray a bit of TF2 spray on a cloth and wipe over the retractable section. Keeps it nice and smooth running. Would probably work for the collet too.
I feel fairly sure that the Wharfe has the potential to produce some really nice fish, but not if Y******** Water keep screwing it over with sewage :mad:
I’ve mentioned this elsewhere, but the prologic coat with bib n brace is perfect. Yesterday I stood for four hours in the Wharfe with a Heat Holders thermal long sleeved top under my prologic coat and I was warm.
Almost embarrassed to post after Mr Jones’ heroics, but I braved the cold for a few hours this morning on the Wharfe. Enjoyed good sport for 13 grayling and one brown trout. Nothing big, but nice fishing all the same 😊
