Isotopes contain tritium which is a colourless gas. It emits low level radiation by beta emission which excites a phosphor and it is the colour of the phosphor that determines the colour we see. Agree with the scale of visibility given above.
That is a kind offer from Biil. I used those Wychwood rods until a year or two ago and they are OK rods for the money, even more so when gifted! My advice would be to take up Bill's offer and once you get fishing on your new waters have a chat with other anglers and get their feedback on the...

The first bait I used in the modern era when I returned to coarse fishing after a long period of fly only was Dynamite Halibut. This season I have gone back to where I started and use their pellets in a variety of sizes for feed and bigger ones as hookbait and find they work well. As winter...

Yes, I forgot to mention in my reply carbon tips rather glass which are better for most chub fishing. Also they do seem short of line guides whereas the Drennan Twin Tip Duo almost has too many (and they bend easily).
I will second the recommendation for Bank Tackle Wide Gape hooks. I bought a pack to try a while back and will be using them as my go to hook now. Great price which includes postage and service is always excellent too. Lots of other useful terminal tackle on their website and not restricted...
I bought the 1.25TC, 12ft version in a closing down sale at a tackle shop for under £70. I cannot say I am hugely impressed or particularly disappointed either so I guess it is a middle of the road contender. I doubt I would have forked out the full asking price as I don't think the quality of...
I have a number of different pins, Rapidex old type and new, Purist II and a Youngs Bob James. In terms of being most suitable legering I would say the Bob James and the Purist II for float fishing.
