Rich, although I don’t have the NGT one, I do have similar cheap pins, I have absolutely no problem of using it, and actually, compare to my other pins, I abused it a lot. It does everything, casting well, line goes off ok, only problem is the ratchet, it’s weak, and sometimes switch on...

You will be surprised about how many high end pins failed both tests you mentioned, especially the spin with a bb.

Yes, I agree, no need to pay double for the Korum one. I have an aerial style cheap pin, (I suspect it is the same factory, given the mechanism is identical just a different look) and I upgraded the bearings, a great tool to use now.

Korum is almost identical to ngt one, I suspect they from the same factory?

You can rest the fish while fishing, but landing time is another matter, on light float gear, I would think at least 5-10mins for a barbel.
