This reminds me of the okuma Trent t1002, it has a ratchet system that will against any flow (guess that’s why the name Trent) but has the trotting ability like Sheffield.
I agree there are a lot of weird things, but normally they don’t sell well in China as well.
And when it comes to fishing, because the fishing style in China or East Asian is very different, I doubt there are any thing they could borrow, unless they start making whips.

I only have the 11ft 1.75 seeker, it’s a different rod compares to my 11ft 1.75 torrix. It’s more through action, and the tip is not as soft as torrix, but the power in the butt section can handle any barbel in the river. And the blank is thinner than torrix.
Yes, fs blanks are Japan carbon made in Korean and China.
The blanks made in Japan, like those high end shimano and daiwa blanks, are really something else.

Saw a new daiwa air z ags on eBay and I am the only person bidded on it, so won it with less than half of the rrp.
