There is significantly more stretch in say 40-60 ft of mainline than a 3ft hooklength, so the hooklength should go first, i think 🤣

Think its a lot of faffing about, when you can use a feeder which you can fill tight or loose depending on the flow,i usually have a mix of pellets and hemp and maybe some bottled flavour,3ft hooklength and they can come up to find my hook bait, hopefully 😃,mind you ive struggled last couple of...

Been using korum spoons for years, can be a bit cumbersome but are perfect for me,and they dont stink your car out,especially when I blank 😉
