Quite a few members are having trouble as they have switched to a new system using Clubmate. They have only just opened for renewal and I think have extended the renewal period until late February. I am not bothering to try until February. There is plenty of info on Facebook.
Iv not tried renewing mine yet but have seen a lot of issues posted on the Facebook page. I have logged in and it does show the option to renew so all being well it goes through smoothly.
I've renewed recently without an issue. I think there was a glitch in the Clubmate app and members were asked not to try and renew before a certain date. Unfortunately I don't think everyone saw the message so they were still trying to renew and were experiencing problems.
I think the issue is, the renew option has not appeared on the clubmate app for a number of members, me included. I am just assuming that the renew option will not appear until the date that you renewed last year has passed.
Why this has happened maybe only the BMAA committee will know as Ashfield allowed you to renew even though the membership lasts until March.
