Brand new with tags Maver signature pro 14ft float rod.

Bought this rod as I love the sig pro range of float rods but never used it as I tend to reach for my 15’s more often than not.
Very light high quality rod in brand new condition still contains the tag with original price tag of £240.
Stepped up blank absolutely ideal for big chub and single figured barbel. Very light rod too with an amazing Fuji seat

I’m letting it go at a bargain special Xmas price. £150 no offers.

Some pics.

Where are you based Richard? I'm after a rod for grayling fishing, is this suitable?
Yeah it will be ideal for grayling fishing it’s got a nice fast hollow tip and would be quite happy dealing with lines of 3-6lb
I’m in Cambridge but I would do some driving to meet someone

Wayne I would definitely choose the maver signature pro over the supera X that you were considering if grayling are the main target.

Simply because It has a slightly softer action more subtle for lighter balanced tackle. The Preston supera x is a proper power float rod and although the tip is quite soft it’s not a rod I’d use with lighter lines of say less than 4lb.

However i would consider selling you either and let you look at them both if you wanted to meet up. Im also considering selling my TSI 15’ which again is a power float rod. Fine for grayling the tip on that is beautiful but again if you wanted to scale down and fish light it wouldn’t be as good as the signature pro.

Entirely up to you. I’m scaling right down to just afew rods that I use regularly so i would be happy to show you some options.
