Hi Paul
Only used rod for approx 4hrs on a short session so havnt really put it through its paces. The tod feels beautiful to use and i had all intentions of keeping it and buying another to make a pair.

I have an older barbel rod. Which i bought a few years ago after getting back into the sport. I used the same rod many years ago and had 2 but regrettably sold all my gear.

I have been looking for another for quite sometime which has proven to be very difficult.

I give up looking and bought the Daiwa rod and within days of using it 2 of the rods i had been looking for came up for sale in mint condition for a reasonable price so i had to have them hence why i no longer will be using the Daiwa and its too good of a rod to have sitting around collecting dust.

Hope this helps

Cheers Martyn
