The Tidal Trent,

I would appreciate some advice on the tidal Trent at Church Laneham Nr Retford?. I have an opportunity to fish that stretch at the beginning of October
help needed as this is an area new to me. Advice on the river conditions I might encounter etc . What t/c rods to take? and so on, please advise.

Are you staying in a caravan, fox covert or Ashfield. As these are the Cluns down there. It will also give an idea for pegs etc...

That's the Caravan park to the right, the faint purple line on the Trent denotes the pegs. These are the best pegs on the stretch. Lots to be had on the float, silvers etc and some really good Barbel on the feeder/lead. It's the mittens that are the problem...
