Cotswold Pace Compact 10ft 1.75tc

Still waiting for mine to arrive.Ordered on 20th July still not arrived yet.Was promised delivery last Tuesday that never happened.Still waiting for response to my emails.
Good job I’m not in a rush for it.
 
Get a sonik xtractor specialist. Go from 1.5 to 2lb tc (the 1.75 is avon too only). Cotswold rods have the worst customer service going once they had my deposit took nearly 6 months for my rods to arrive, ignored calls / emails and when they did reply just lied to me.
 
Hi, In my personal experience they are a shambles of a company.
I had to wait almost 14 months for a pair of rods. Continuous lies, mixed with no reply’s to calls or messages/emails.

Avoid this lot like the plague.
 
Rod arrived today with no notification from Cotswold or the courier it was being delivered.
First impressions are good bit I’ll try and get on the bank with it in the next few days.
Build quality looks spot on shame about the customer service.Think they are looking for someone to look after that side of the business right now.So I’ll give them the benefit of doubt.
 
Years ago I had a set of Harrison Trebuchet carp rods made by Cotswold Rods and no issues, I collected them directly on time. The build quality was and still is absolutely superb.
But the comments and feedback about them on Carp Forums is very negative and has been for a while regarding timescales and customer service.
 
The fella Tom from Cotswold is a chancer, can’t say it enough.
If this saves one person having the aggravation I had, use someone who is appreciative of the business.

Can’t praise Darran from Resilure enough, really professional approach, and great communication.

Apologies for the rant, hope you enjoy getting out there, using your new rod.

Managed a few hours this morning and had this one around 6lb.
Rod felt nice and balanced paired up with a small baitrunner. Was worried
the rod wouldn’t have enough stopping power but there’s plenty enough.
Rods are a very personal thing,but I’d class it as £120 well spent.

They have been looking for someone to handle that side of things since they opened. Just another lie as that job advert has been going for 8 plus years i believe since the chap who started the business with Tom left.
