I should add that whilst fishing at Coldharbour I was blessed with having a bittern fly upstream, right in front of me. It was one of those jaw dropping moments when all you can do is stare. Just wish I had the skills of Dave Taylor to photograph this iconic Norfolk Broads bird with the reeds as a backdrop. The fishing was good as well. A day to remember!

Would have loved to have seen ( and photographed) that Bittern Paul .

Every now & then, whilst fishing, you look up and the scene grabs you. Everything is just perfect and you forget about the fishing for a few seconds whilst you take it all in. You seem to have them moments more than most Dave! Very lucky fella!
We see so much when fishing,… that’s why I took up photography to try and capture those magical moments in time.
Wished I’d learned how to use a camera much earlier,…. all those missed opportunities ( 50 years worth).
I’m on the riverbanks most days so the percentage factor means I can fluke a reasonable pic every now and again,… yes I’m very lucky indeed Nigel.🙂📸🎣
