Ye they are. Ive got the 4000 which is what I use on my acolyte specimen. wanted the smaller version for a new perch float setup.
 
I just bought the XR4000 from TFT (I buy quite a lot from them and find them very good). I don't need need need the reel, but I might buy an Aero waggler rod, and my OCD tells me it has to have a Shimano reel on it. :D


PS. 30th Jan. They've ended the sale, now back to £130-ish.
