Search for the ultimate roving luggage setup

I think Fox still do one that would be perfect for my bucket and my derrière, cheers.

I've been eyeing those bucket seats up for a while. What's the fabric like, is it waterproof-ish or absorbent?
The polyester fabric encloses a very strong bucket with lid that seals making it entirely waterproof. It also has 3 outside pockets which are really useful. the bucket lid also has a cushioned seat which swivels 360 degrees so for £19-99 I think it is a bargain.
  • IDEAL ACCESSORY – The Nitehawk Shooting Seat is the ideal accessory for all your hunting/fishing needs, A solid bucket for storage and a comfortable place to sit on the padded lid.
  • DIMENSIONS – Top diameter: 30cm x Bottom diameter: 28cm x Height: 42cm
  • MADE FROM – Olive Green Plastic Bucket with Camouflage Polyester Covers, Strong and durable and easy to clean.
  • FEATURES – A padded lid for a comfortable place to sit, with 360degree swivel. Adjustable Carry straps to easily transport this item. Three storage pockets to give you easy access to gear even when seated.
  • STRONG AND STURDY – a quality bucket that is well built and perfectly designed

Just found this……..

Have you seen the one by Fjallraven, it's even cheaper. 😁

I've just 'downsized' and bought a korum progress roversack 25L.
I can fit everything in i need for the short sessions i usually have, and the legs from my Korum compact accessory chair fit on the side.

I have an old (in that they no longer make them) Fox tackle belt, which I use if I get the chance of a daytime session, and want to rove. Other than that, Damian's set up looks spot on.

Continuing the vein in this thread regarding roving tackle set up, I thought my 17 litre bucket had it all - nice little tray in the top separating bits and bobs from other stuff like bait in the bottom. On the river for a few days however things change a little. I found myself adding to the contents of the bucket daily in the hope of covering some bases whilst maintaining that mobile element to my angling. I did not contemplate how frustrating it would be however having to rummage around the bottom of the bucket trying to find what I wanted.
I had spotted these below in a You Tube possibly a year ago. Well, I got one the other day and it has proved quite beneficial. No longer do I spend half my time on the bank playing lucky dip searching for what I need and seemingly never finding it. The individual trays are capable organising practically everything you'd need for short session, whilst containing all your bait in the section below.

Brilliant bit of kit!

When I saw Korda release it, straight away I could see it would be ideal for river angling on short sessions.

I'm surprised no one else has mentioned having one.

Thanks

Lewis

As the original poster, I’ve now just bought a drennan specialist compact 30l rucksack. About the same physical size as the TA compact rucksack - but so much more comfortable! The Korum blox box fits in the top, and I can get everything else in with room to spare. Let’s see how that works out!
