Hi men

Lots of interest in baits making lately on here , this video is really useful and entertaining. Although it's predominantly about Bait Asylum stuff , there are nuggets to pick up , even mentioning barbel fishing stuff . Answered a couple of things for me , and a chat on the phone to him helped me out . DMPT , could not work out how to get the best out of it , as it could almost repeal fish , and the bell rang in my head on a couple of ingredients I had wasted , like Brocacel , and getting the best out of it . Worth a look on a cold wet night

Carp chronicles podcasts have a fair few episodes on bait worth listening to. The Jason Rider and Dave Moore were very good just to name a couple. Definitely will watch the Kenny Gates one above as well.

Yes , watched everything he done from the early days . Had a chance for a quick chat at Alan Taylor's funeral ( wacker catcher) as I bumped into him donkeys years ago at a " Hertfordshire club water " , we were both a lot younger . Good quality stuff , even his Koi videos were good .

I've watched these and can't remember him mentioning DMPT or Brocacel.

Quite early in the video . DMPT is a very hard additive to use , the amounts are very small , heat mucks it up and I certainly ruined a few pots of hookbaits .

I've watched these and can't remember him mentioning DMPT or Brocacel.

Might need to watch them again.

Mentions DMPT early doors, basically if it's in the boilie the heat kills it. So it needs to be put onto the boilie after like a soak but for hook baits only. I have a tub kicking about and never really used it, I guess all about getting the quantity correct.

Brocacel doesn't work with fish meals , only carbohydrates, used in feed for beef production, more yield from feed that as brocacel added

Found it very interesting, even mentions John Baker under his breath

Hi men ,

Although a proven attractor , possibly a real edge , iv found that other liquids that are more user friendly do the job . Add to that the sticky active boilies coating take on liquids giving off what I'm looking for .
