Trying to get a handle on what a Hardy Marksman Supero 13" Extreme Float rod might go for these days?
 
Hi Jez. I sold one used on ebay for 472£. Crazy money. There were 2 on marketplace in the spring in preston but seller would not deliver. Someone bought the pair for 290. Sold one on ebay around 290. The second sold for over 3 I think. Best hardy float IMHO. I would buy one again at sensible money . Fabulous rods. I paid 175 new and used for 3 years, ha! But I can't shift for love or money my mates 12 feeder. Weird market now.

How much is the feeder Alec?

Seems there are a few Specimen 13's on ebay at moment. Around £450

Yes Graham but that's thomas turner. A marksman specialist feeder should make around 275, the supero version a little less. The specialist are just that bit classier, better rings etc but they are the same blanks as the supero. I have spoken to Dave coster when I met him who confirmed that. The Hardy I have seems unmarked save for very small scratches on the metal butt cover. If it's of any interest to you feel free to pm me . I had the 12' supero version and it was a very nice feeder.
