Korum opportunist mat bag, seems a good piece of kit?

Saw this on YouTube today, it’s basically a unhooking mat that warps a tackle bag. A bit big for my like though.

Nice concept to integrate the two as mats are cumbersome to carry if your going really light.

I had an idea a while ago when I actually forgot my Mat once and had to lay a pike on my vass coat
A light flat mat that Velcros onto the back of a jacket flat not rolled up.
So it’s part of the coat and essentially you wouldn’t know it was there when roaming with minimal tackle.
If you catch you just pull it off the jacket or lay The Whole jacket down.
Only downside is obviously if it’s too hot to take a jacket 🤣…. I’ll get my c….. never mind😆

Nice idea but no gong from me - far too big and would be better in ruckbag format rather than holdall. Also doesn't resolve the smelly mat in boot of car issue and that bad boy looks like it would stay drenched for a while! Will stick with my roll up Drennan!

Design wise I don’t think you can beat the fast mat. It was just perfect in every way apart from its overall length. I found it a bit of a pain for getting my hands and eyes into the business end of the fishes mouth with a decent sized fish in there.
Now I’m aware they’ve made a bigger one but they’ve made it wider too so I’ll have to see it in the flesh before hitting the button.
I have the foldamat now and that’s great to be fair. Not as good as a fast mat regarding its design but a bloody good mat and perfect size for barbel

That’s no good for a tackle tart like me, everything with end up stinking and covered in slime 🤣
Exactly! But in all seriousness why would you want to cover the rest of your kit in gunk from a red letter day - appreciate its got what looks like a waterproof inner bag but seriously this feels like a friday pub design decision . . .lol

I quite like the idea, and i'm glad to see a company thinking of something slightly different for a change, rather than just rehashing the same old stuff brand after brand.

The removable 'mat' within the cradle itself should be relatively easy to wash off in the lake/river if it's really gunked up, or at least slid into a plastic bag and folded within until you get home.

It looks like a decent idea. However, I'm still stuck using a very old and very battered Korum Multi Mat. In all honesty, I don't really use it as a mat (I use a Drennan Specialist to actually put fish on). I carry the multi-mat over my shoulder to act as a cushion for whatever chair/stool/seat box I choose to use. The only things that are carried in it are clothing and the Drennan mat. I'd love another over the shoulder mat/bag, but I've not seen anything similar for years.
