What reel line?

I've been using Gardner Hydrotuff for a while now, and I've been very impressed with it.
Its been used in some very tough and demanding conditions, and its coped with all that's been thrown at it.

I should to have a review of it done soon.

For everyday use..berkley big game clear is a must..
Very cheap on eBay...great line !
Very robust line,great for barbelling..

Has anyone tried Berkley Nanofil yet? Diameters are very fine to breaking strain it is not a mono not a braid apparently. Looks as tho it may have uses.

Fishing tidal trent using 15lb esp olive carp and not let me down once

ive used big game religously for years now

allways thought it was a great heavy duty line , and then i saw the tackle box bench test results which just confirmed what i allready thought

line is a very subjective issue , ask 100 anglers and you will get 70 different responses

a big part of the choice has to be the river you fish

is it a snag pit like the ribble that i mostly fish , the bed rock is brutal on the line so i need to use something upto the task

the other day i fished the dane using 20lb power pro , perfectley acceptable there and a revelation to use , but it would be suicide to take it on the ribble

as allways , you need to match any part of your tackle to the venue

so if you are fishing a water that is unforgiving on your gear , 12lb clear big game will not let you down

reason i emphasise the clear is the tackle box tests , check them out

Gear Review: New Berkley NanoFil Line | Field & Stream

Dave, the diameter is around the equivalent of 6lbs mono.

I get it from this guy, one of the cheapest out there, reliable and great too deal with.
