I'm not leaving them that long. There has to be a point where it's not practical...if you have to unpack them a day or so before you go fishing to see if they are going to come around or if you need to buy fresh.
I've just re packed them, I'm going to keep them for next week, probably open them wed or Thursday. I'll let you know how they are .
You don't really need to vacpac them..if you put them into a freezer bag with most of the air out and the neck tied you will get the same sort of result. They...
I've got a 12' korum 1 3/4 test curve. I picked it up very cheaply secondhand. I've not used it much, biggest fish was a 6 pound chub. I think it will do everything you need it to do without letting you down.
Obviously there is some cost cutting involved to keep prices down ..the cork handle...
I bought one of his one piece waterproof suits in the late 80s. It was a motorbiking waterproof...still had the original label in it, he didn't even re badge them.
They aren't too uncommon-I bought two separately last year on, one on ebay and one from a car boot. Paid £35.00 for one and £25.00 for the other. There was another on ebay at the same time that I was outbid on (cos i'm tight), so its well worth looking out for them.e
I've got a pair of Daiwa black widows that are 10 ft 3lb test curves. I use them for pike fishing from my boat. They dont feel particularly poky for that test curve. I've also got a 10 ft Wychwood with a 3lb test curve and it is poky! Same length, same test curve, two totally different rods...
