Registration Information

Unlike many other internet forums, we insist that all members on our message boards post using their own, real names. We hope that this will mean that our website is a more pleasant place to be for everyone involved.

If you would like to post on Barbel Fishing World, you need to become a registered member. In order to become a registered member, we need you to confirm your identity.

You can do this in one of the following ways:

1) Make any purchase from the BFW Shop. As we receive the name and address of our customers from the credit card clearing process, we can be sure you are who you say you are. Click here to do this. You will receive details of your free membership by email. We add you to the forum system manually so your membership details will not be included as part of your order receipt emails, and will take longer to arrive with you.

2) Contribute to our chosen charity through the BFW Shop using your credit/debit card. We will then donate the moneys collected to our chosen charity on a yearly basis. Click here to do this. We add you to the forum system manually so your membership details will not be included as part of your donation receipt emails, and will take longer to arrive with you.

3) Contribute to our chosen charity by sending a cheque for £5, made payable to ‘Barbel Fishing World’ to:

Barbel Fishing World
c/o Yatton Keynell Stores
The Street

Yatton Keynell

nr Chippenham
Wiltshire
SN14 7BA

Please include a note of your email address and full name. Barbel Fishing World will absorb all processing costs though we ask that you include a self stamped addressed envelop with the cheque, so that we can send your membership details if we need to.

By becoming a registered member you will gain access to our River Reports forums, Social forum and our BFW Events forum. These are invisible to all other visitors.

Before becoming a registered member, please read our full Terms and Conditions, note that these terms and conditions apply in full whichever method you use to register.
